Zatmenie mesiaca na hrade Devín

On Sunday, September 7, 2025, there will be an evening observation of the total lunar eclipse at Devín Castle.

From 18:30 you can settle down on your own blankets at the foundations of the Great Moravian church, from where the eclipse will be beautifully visible. The castle will be open exceptionally until 22:00.

• 20:11 Maximum eclipse
• 22:00 End

The event will include expert commentary and professional telescopes from members of the Slovak Astronomical Association.

Admission is according to the castle’s regular price list. Tickets can be purchased at the Devín Castle ticket office or online.

In case of inclement weather, the event will not take place.
