ČSOB Bratislava Marathon

Bratislava will once again be alive with a major international event. ČSOB Bratislava Marathon is one of the best-known running events in Slovakia. The 19th edition of the event is scheduled for the first weekend in April and the organizers are once again promising a wonderful sporting experience for runners and spectators alike. The level of competition has increased year after year and is reflected in the interest of runners from a large number of countries to come to Bratislava.

It represents a running symbol of spring for all Bratislava residents, for inhabitants form other Slovak cities as well as for foreign runners. It’s main idea says that all who come to Bratislava’s marathon and for whom running became a part of their lives. Irrespective if they belong to smallest toddlers, participants of kids runs, proud marathon runners or still active seniors.

In Bratislava everybody shall feel like a winner after the race and the organizers treat every single participant according to this. Come and enjoy the atmosphere of the biggest and most popular run held in Bratislava as runner, fan or visitor of Bratislava.

There is a choice of ten disciplines to compete in during the Marathon weekend, ranging from the shortest races for children up to the major event, the marathon route itself. Come to the heart of Europe to enjoy the race.

From its very beginning in 2006 the Bratislava City Marathon – since 2008 the ČSOB Bratislava Marathon – has been building its reputation and fix place among sports and public events not only in Bratislava but it ranks among the most important events within whole Slovakia and it becomes more and more popular even among foreign runners.
