Night of Museums and Galleries
At the occasion of the International Day of Museums, museums and galleries in Slovakia are declaring May 20, to be the Night of Museums and Galleries. On that day, from 10.00 to 24.00 the public can visit the institutions’ exhibitions and specially prepared events for a lower entrance fee paid in the first visited museum only (€2).
Besides showing its current exhibitions, on this Night the museums and galleries prepared very special programmes. They are also concentrating on activities, which remain uncovered through the year. They are showing their “hidden chambers”.
