Bratislava City Days is one of the most popular events in Bratislava. Every year, the festival brings cultural programmes, open buildings, city tours and many experiences for visitors of all ages.

Bratislava City Days has been one of the most visited city festivals since 2003. The event follows historical celebrations connected with St. George’s Day and the tradition of electing the city mayor. Today, the festival has a modern character and attracts tens of thousands of visitors during two spring weekend days.
The festival traditionally begins with the symbolic opening of the city gates attended by the Mayor of Bratislava. Visitors can also explore the historic Primate’s Palace, which opens its doors to the public during the event. Many city organisations also present their work and activities.
