Travel talk „On the Road Not Taken“ with Michal Knitl with the topic Magical Taiwan and volcanoes in Indonesia on 26 February at 18:00 in the German Cultural House.
Guests will have the opportunity to listen to the story of five weeks in Taiwan – an island of nice people, challenging hikes and beautiful hot springs, which Michal walked around in a counterclockwise direction, mainly looking for mountains and natural beauties.
You will also learn, for example, that Taiwan’s highest mountain is 3,952 metres high and that the hikes on the island are some of the most difficult in the world. From Taiwan, MIchal then moves on to Indonesia, where he climbs volcanoes on Java (Arjuno, Bromo, Batok, Raung, Ijen), Bali (Agung), Lombok (Rinjani) and Sumbawe (Tambora) over the course of a month.
