On the ramparts, there will be a unique opportunity to observe the Sun – our nearest star – through special astronomical telescopes.

The programme will include observations of sunspots and solar prominences, as well as a partial solar eclipse at sunset. Sunglasses enabling safe observation of the sky will be available for purchase on site. The supplementary programme will also feature a mobile planetarium with a separate admission fee.

Programme:

• 17:00 – solar observation at three observation points: viewing sunspots and prominences using special solar telescopes; opportunity to purchase glasses for safe solar observation and admission to the planetarium
• 19:00 – start of the programme dedicated to the partial solar eclipse
• 19:20 – observation of the partial solar eclipse
