Dragrift: The Musical

Dragrift: The Musical will take place on November 29, 2025, in Kácečko.

At the end of the month, Bratislava will see the exceptionally strong return of the Dragrift project, which, after a difficult period associated with the controversy surrounding the last event at Kácečko, is coming back with a clear stance: safety, fairness, and transparency are absolute priorities. The organizers have adopted new measures, communicated openly with the community, and agreed with a verified security service that has long provided incident-free coverage of queer events.

This year’s edition will bring two prominent stars of the European drag scene to Slovakia:

• Pandora Nox – the first ever winner of Drag Race Germany, an international performer and one of Europe’s most prominent drag personalities.
• Chi Chi Tornado – star of a Czech television talk show, iconic Czech drag artist and semi-finalist in Czech Republic and Slovakia’s Got Talent 2010.

The Dragrift series was created in 2022 as an independent platform for domestic and foreign performers. Since then, it has grown into a leader in Central Europe – connecting the community, supporting queer artists, and actively creating a safe space for creativity and freedom.

The Musical edition pays tribute to musical culture – from Broadway to film classics. Visitors can expect striking costumes, elaborate show numbers, themed categories, a panel of judges, and dynamic DJ sets in collaboration with Triton residents.

Dragrift also introduces the concept of safeguards – trained people who oversee the safety, atmosphere, and support of the audience during the evening. This element, inspired by international queer events, enhances the comfort of all visitors.
