Kvapka – večer pri naturálnom víne

Bratislava is opening a new home for natural wine. Nahé vína is launching a series of natural wine evenings at Rómerov dom.

Lovers of authentic, artisanal wine have a new reason to celebrate. The Nahé vína project, known for its successful festivals, is joining forces with Rómerov dom. They are launching a series of regular, guided tastings with international participation under the name Kvapka – evenings with natural wine.

The tastings are designed as guided samplings of multiple wines, complemented by a culinary experience from the Rómerov dom kitchen. Due to the limited capacity of the historic venue and the intimate nature of the event, early ticket reservations are recommended.

Kalt Winery: In 2021, Tomáš Niepel—a wine lover and amateur sommelier—purchased one of the highest-altitude “vineyards” above Pukanec. That same year, he began making wine as a self-taught winemaker while also undertaking a complete renovation of the wine cottage and the construction of a new wine cellar. He produces his wines from grapes grown in Pukanec and the surrounding villages and markets them under the brand name kalt wine, which references the German settlers of Pukanec from ancient history as well as the origin of his surname, the cooler climate of Slovakia’s highest-altitude vineyards (kalt – cold, German) and, last but not least, is an acronym of the first names of his family members. In 2023, together with his family and friends, he planted two new vineyards above and below the hill, dominated by his favorite Burgundy varieties.
