Mikrozvuk #57: Fæ Bestia + Arash Ghasemi

Fæ Bestia and Arash Ghasemi will perform at the first concert in 2026, from the Mikrozvuk series.

The ninth year of the Mikrozvuk series will be kicked off by Prague-based producer Fæ Bestia. Weightless, ethereal vocals roll over the muddy banks of the River Styx. Angel wings grow heavy, dirt paints a French manicure. Fæ Bestia briefly embodies Paris Hilton, only to flash into the body of Laura Palmer or howl at the moon in the skin of a night beast. One moment it’s RnB, the next it’s hyperpop. One moment it sounds like an inhuman cry from the forest on the edge of an industrial complex, the next like an echo from the nightclub next door. Her God Digger EP, released by the Wrong collective, is played.

Arash Ghasemi / آرش قاسمی is an Iranian musician living in Prague. He has performed at festivals such as Sensorium and Sharpe in Bratislava, where he performed with his project Gnäw. He now lives in Prague and his music is closely linked to the Řehole collective, which released his album Ahvaz اهواز at the end of last year. His sound combines various string instruments with ambient and drone landscapes, drawing on influences from traditional Persian and Kurdish music (Farhad Safari, Sohrab Mohammadi) and the iconic voice of Iranian poet and filmmaker Forugh Farrokhzad.
