Emer – Marija Rasa is a sound artist born in Lithuania and based in Brussels. Under the pseudonym emer, she explores sound rooted in the meditative space of dub, characterised by the slow blending of bass, textures and voice into a single viscous mass. Marija is a graduate of the Institute of Sonology in The Hague. Her somnambulistic sound is associated with labels such as Lillerne Tapes, Short Span and Stroom, and may lead one to artists such as Lolina, Mu Tate, ulla or Ben Bondy. Together with Ugnė Uma, she released the album you and me this year, which paves the way for contemporary, languid post-trip-hop. In addition, Marija is a long-standing resident DJ at Radio Vilnius and Kiosk Radio in Brussels.

Sajjra Xhrs Galarreta will present a physical sound experience rooted in deep breathing, silence, resonance and tonal imprecision, performed on Andean-Amazonian ball flutes and, occasionally, other instruments from this region (made from materials such as shells, bone, clay or pottery) . The style of the performance is influenced by the sounds typical of rituals in these areas. Otoacoustic situationism and rural futurism.
Sajjra Xhrs Galarreta is a Peruvian sound artist, composer and installation artist. She explores the acoustic properties of various objects and spaces and translates imperceptible physical phenomena into the audible dimension. She experiments with electromagnetic fields, underwater sounds and otoacoustic emissions. She is a key figure on the underground experimental scene in South America. Since 1998, she has been performing and presenting her work under various names, including DiosMeHaViolado, Evamuss, Sajjra, Chrs Galarreta, Dj Sajjra and Invisible Architecture.

This project is supported by the City of Bratislava, the capital of the Slovak Republic.
