Pebble Seven & Oliver Torr Release Party
Pebble Seven is an artistic project by the Slovak singer and songwriter Daša Bulíková, who is based in Prague and blends experimental pop, alternative R&B and ambient electronica in her work. She previously released music under the name Dasa, including the EPs Come Through and first blush. The Pebble Seven identity has opened up new avenues for her to explore fresh dimensions of her own creative work and artistic expression.
Bulíková has spent her life between Bratislava, Prague and London, where she studied music at Goldsmiths University. Her distinctive sound has been shaped by electronic production, the aesthetics of dance music and precisely layered vocals. In her work, she moves away from traditional pop structures, prioritising atmosphere, texture and emotional depth.
Her debut album Sheepsong Unlimited explores the complexities of interpersonal relationships, memory and self-perception. Through intimate tracks and layered metaphors, Pebble Seven returns to themes of closeness, a sense of belonging, and the traces that both people and places leave within us. Inspired by artists such as Imogen Heap, Okla and Smerz, she creates soundscapes that range from experimental pop to alternative R&B and ambient electronica, prioritising atmosphere and exploration over traditional song structures.
The album Sheepsong Unlimited was released by the Bratislava-based label 42far and was created in close collaboration with producer Oliver Torro from Athens and London-based producer Joseph Futák. Available both digitally and on a limited-edition white vinyl, it presents Pebble Seven as a distinctive new voice in contemporary electronic music.
