Prehliadka Depa Krasňany

Following the largest modernization in the history of the Bratislava Transport Company, we are opening the gates of the Krasňany Depot. As part of an exclusive guided tour, you’ll have the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes at the facility where we maintain Bratislava’s public transport vehicles and see how the depot operates following its extensive renovation. Together, we’ll take a look at the washing line, the tram parking hall, and the hall where we charge our electric buses. We’ll explain what tasks await a tram upon arrival at the depot and how, thanks to automation, parking trams in the hall is literally like a computer game of Tetris.

The tour begins at the gatehouse of the Krasňany Depot. You can easily reach the depot from the city center via Line 3 or Line 51. Please arrive at the gatehouse no later than 5 minutes before the tour begins.

The depot grounds are wheelchair-accessible; however, the program itself is not suitable for people with reduced mobility or disabilities, as the tour takes place in an operational and technical environment. For safety reasons, the tour is not suitable for children under 6 years of age.

During the tour, visitors are required to wear reflective clothing, which will be provided by the organizer. While moving around the premises, visitors must follow the instructions of Bratislava Transport Company staff. Purchased tickets are non-refundable.
