Rezoné: Akuzmatická listening session

An evening dedicated to acousmatic listening and the spatial perception of sound.

This time, the focus will be primarily on compositions that explore field recording techniques. Acousmatic listening is a way of perceiving sound without the presence of its visible source, allowing one to concentrate on the sound itself, its character, texture and spatial relationships. The first part of the evening will feature acousmatic and experimental works by local and international artists, whilst the second part will provide a platform for the presentation of compositions by participants in the spatial sound workshop taking place at the A4 Sound Lab.

In collaboration with the Súzvuky and offDAC platforms. The event has received public funding from the Fund for the Support of the Arts and the Bratislava City Foundation. As part of the ‘Sound Experiments: Innovative Approaches to Informal Learning’ project, funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ programme.
