Sochársky workshop s Evou Moflárovou k výstave Marie Bartuszovej

An opportunity to familiarise yourself with the work and principles that Maria Bartuszová also employed in her sculptural practice.

Contemporary visual artist Eva Moflárová, who works in the fields of painting, drawing and installation, will guide participants through this sculptural process. The workshop will reveal her way of working at the intersection of drawing and sculpture, her use of various contrasting materials and shapes, and her search for the centre of gravity and the relationship between them. An intuitive approach will set your own creativity in motion. By modelling objects in space, participants will explore the morphology of rounded forms, cavities, perforations and natural fractals, and embark on a journey through the landscape of their own body’s memory. For inspiration, the session will also include a visit to the exhibition Being Nature by Maria Bartuszová, guided by gallery educator Ludmila Hrachovinová.
