Thinking Outloud: Modernizácia legacy systémov bez zastavenia businessu

Thinking Out Loud will explore the topic of modernising legacy systems without disrupting day-to-day operations.

The event will focus on questions such as how to gradually replace outdated solutions on which the company’s operations still depend, how to develop a new system alongside the existing one, and how to manage the transformation without downtime or a negative impact on clients or staff.

Marian Pogran from OVB Allfinanz Slovensko and Pavol Hüber from Outloud will share their experiences.

Marian Pogran heads a division of more than 30 people and oversees digital transformation, strategy, customer experience and the service centre. He will present insights from OVB’s transformation and the development of the Aero platform, which is being built alongside the existing systems and is gradually replacing them without disrupting ongoing business operations.

Pavol Hüber is responsible for project management at Outloud. He will examine the topic from the perspective of team coordination, defining responsibilities, risk management and the gradual implementation of changes. He has gained experience through web and application projects for both large corporations and smaller firms. Clients he has worked for include Samsung, KIA Motors and the Social Insurance Agency.

The programme will consist of two talks, a panel discussion, a Q&A session with the audience and a networking session afterwards. Refreshments are included in the ticket price.
