Tim Daisy Trio

This time, the Tim Daisy Trio – a trio of improvisers from three continents – is coming to Metropol.

For this concert, the Castle and Sun project (Veto Records) is expanding into a trio, in which the music is created in the very moment – through mutual interaction, improvisation and a shared search for sound. Free jazz and experimental music without pre-defined boundaries.

Palimpsest is a new Bratislava-based series dedicated to free jazz, improvised and experimental music. It brings together local and international musicians and stages concerts at various venues across Bratislava. Its name refers to the layering of different styles, interpretations and meanings – and it is precisely on this interplay that the programme of Palimpsest is built.

Line-up:

• Tim Daisy (USA) – drums
• Sebastian Strinning (CH/S) – tenor saxophone, bass clarinet
• Paula Sanchez (ARG) – cello
