Creative Morning s Veronou Němcovou

Veronika Němcová will speak about what drives her in life and in her work.

Veronika Němcová studied cultural studies. Until March 31, 2025, she served as director of Schaubmar’s Mill in Pezinok, a branch of the Slovak National Gallery. She is part of an initiative involving mass resignations by SNG employees who left in protest against the institution’s current unprofessional leadership. She is actively involved in the Open Culture! initiative, which aims to stop the devastating interventions by the leadership of the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic into the cultural environment at all levels. She is currently focusing on art in public spaces as part of her doctoral studies at STU and serves as the producer for the Waiting Places project, which is part of the EHMK Trenčín 2026 program.
