Martin Burlas a Peter Zagar: Dorminal – Easy listening doom
Martin Burlas recently celebrated his 70th birthday. He lived his life alongside Vlado Godár and Peter Breiner, and found a home for his rebellious individual language at the Stoka Theater.
Together with Daniel Matej, Ľubomír Burgr, and Marek Piaček, he left an unforgettable mark in the form of chamber operas for Stoka.
For decades, he has held up a mirror to Slovakia with his music and principles.
His Spam Symphony for orchestra and choir premiered at the Radio_Head Awards, and the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra performed his composition Sotto voce. His band Ospalý pohyb is a fixture on the alternative scene.
