Dances from Horehronie Region

Fans of Slovak folklore, on Thursday 23 June 2022 you are cordially invited again to the Dance House in the garden of the Umelka Gallery in Bratislava’s Old Town.

The legendary Roma band Pokošovci from Šumiac will play for you to dance. You will learn dances from Horehronie – the chardash and wheel from Polomka and the Roma “chardash” from Telgárt. There will also be a magical open-air dance party.

You can also look forward to a demonstration of the unique Horehronské viachlasné singing, which is included in the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Slovakia and Humanity.

Tickets can be purchased at the venue for 8€.
