Dan Bárta, as an eleven-time winner of the Anděl Award in the category of singer of the year or singer of the quarter century, and Kristína Mihaľová, finalist of the most prestigious jazz vocal competition in the world – Sarah Vaughan Jazz Vocal Competition 2022, are certainly among the best that we have on the domestic scene. Both singers are constantly raising the bar with their work and performances, and now they have decided to perform in one evening accompanied by Robert Balzar and Jakub Šedivý.
During their short time on the scene, Lash&Grey have already managed to perform on world-famous stages such as Carnegie Hall in New York, Empoli Jazz Festival in Italy, Porgy&Bess in Vienna, ARTE TV in France, festivals in Mexico City, Guadalajara and jazz stages in most European countries.
Last year, the duo played concerts in 11 countries and also has several domestic awards to their credit, such as the Anděl Award for the best Slovak album, the Radio Head Awards for the best debut album, or song of the year.
Dan Bárta’s collaboration with Robert Balzar is one of the most stable in the domestic scene. They have been working together in the J.A.R. group for 27 years, since 2000 in the Illustratosphere project, in which they have 6 albums together, and in 2010 they also recorded the THEORIES album together as part of the Robert Balzar trio project with Dan Bárta.
In conjunction with the Slovak duo Lash&Grey, in the concert atmosphere of the theater scene, the audience can prepare for an unrepeatable musical evening.
