Roman Games and Danube Limes Day Bratislava 2015 …come check out the Romans! :)

We would like to kindly invite everyone, especially families and fans to come and check out the only place in Slovakia that was part of the Northern border of the Roman Empire!

A free crossborder sightseeing tour connecting two Roman sites

Gerulata-Rusovce and Carnuntum. Sightseers will get a discount on entry tickets to Carnuntum! J

  • A bike tour retracing the roman road from Gerulata to Carnuntum

The Danube Limes Day biker team will enjoy a sighseeing trip on the Roman Road from Bratislava to Petronell-Carnuntum, returning to Rusovce-Gerulata (~60km).

  • A canoe trip on the Danube – the true frontier of the Roman Empire

Meeting of canoe sailors with bikers in Bad Deutsch-Altenburg, in front of Museum Carnuntinum. From there canoers will sail downriver into the Rusovce arm of the Danube

(The Danube formed a natural border of the Roman Empire in ancient times – LIMES ROMANUS).
