Freedom Square – water playground
The square with green areas inviting you to sit on the grass is dominated by a fountain with a diameter of 45 meters
Public space with lawns and a fountain in its center, where you can take a walk and cool down during the summer – there is a children’s water playground in it, and the water is chemically treated just like in swimming pools.
Since the fountain’s launch in the 1980s, entry into it was prohibited, but this rule was more or less disregarded, especially in the summer. After its renovation, this is no longer the case. Entry into the 45-meter diameter fountain is at your own risk, and dogs are not allowed.
You will also find gastronomic establishments here, from which you can observe one of the largest fountains in Slovakia in the shape of a linden blossom.
