NIPPONFEST & HANGUKON 2016
We would like to invite you to convention Nipponfest and Hangukon in Dom kultury Zrkadlovy haj, Rovniankova 3, Bratislava.
Nipponfest and Hangukon are festivals focused on Asian culture and pop-culture, concentrating on Japan and South Korea. The festivals wants to engage a broader audience, not only long term fans, but also bystanders. Its mission is to contribute to raising awareness of Japan and South Korea as countries, but also to understand their culture and traditions. To reach this goal, we have prepared a rich program, in which every visitor should find something interesting.
During our festivals, you can visit lectures on a wide range of topics, play Japanese table games (mahjong, shogi – Japanese equivalent of chess, go – Japanese strategic board game, and more), watch anime or give your best in competitions (cosplay, karaoke, k-pop dance conpetition, Korean food speed eating and more).
Festivals begin on Friday with the evening cinema where you can watch two films from Asian production. Week-end is full of interesting lectures, presentations and workshops. We invite you also to Saturday´s unique disco in k-pop style with DJ Ondro.
For those who prefer a peaceful moment, there will be a teahouse. You can also buy comics, figurines, posters, key rings, bags and other merch with anime or Japanese theme.

- Advance tickets can be bought online via sk until 30.10.2016 or in Funtastick.sk store (Heydukova 4, Bratislava). The price is 10 €.
- The price is 15 € when buying tickets at the location.
