Selection from the Program of Bratislava City Days
We have selected several interesting events for you that you should not miss in Bratislava on this special weekend.
Start your city days with the Opening of the City Gates, take one of the guided tours and sail on the Danube. Discover the charm of the city bazaar right in the heart of Bratislava and enjoy a Sunday stroll among the stalls full of antiques, collectibles, curiosities, retro and vintage items, vinyls and stylish accessories. Each item has its own story.
One of the highlights will be the Šturec Tugboat Parade – 25. 4. 2026 | 10:00 a.m.. Visitors can see the various areas of the ship – the saloon, cabins, galley or wheelhouse, talk and reminisce with former boatmen about sailing on the Danube in the 2nd half of the 20th century.

Historical rides through Bratislava
The streets of Bratislava will come alive with history. This year again, historic public transport vehicles will run on three special lines.
Whether you love history or want to relive memories from your childhood, when you used these vehicles every day, this is a unique experience for all visitors.
Routes:
Line A (tram): Jesenského – Centrum – Mariánska – Americké Square – Blumentál – STU – Vysoká – Poštová – Kapucínska – Chatam Sófer – Water Tower – SNP Bridge – Jesenského
Line H (trolleybus): Búdková – Červený kríž – Jančova – Hummelova – Radvanská – Inovecká – Castle – Zámocká – Svoradova – Kozia – Hodžovo Square – Kollárovo Square – Špitálska – Ondrejský Cemetery – Rajská and back
Line M (bus): New SND – Landererova – Apollo Bridge – Einsteinova – Viedenská cesta – Vienna Tramway – Krasovského – SNP Bridge – Ľ. Štúr Square – Šafárik Square – Malá scéna – New SND
All rides are free during the weekend.
Guided feedings at the ZOO
25. 4. 2026 | 09:00 a.m. – Bratislava ZOO
During the Bratislava City Days, popular commented feedings and meetings with keepers await you at the Bratislava ZOO, where you will learn many fascinating facts from the world of animals. Our keepers will share with you their knowledge about the natural behavior of animals, their diet, life in the wild, as well as behind-the-scenes stories of their daily care.
Open studio
25. 4. 2026 | 11:00 a.m. – Bratislava City Gallery
Discover your creative potential! Immerse yourself in creation through several activities prepared on the tables.
Create an object from kinetic sand in the common space, try drawing a still life using contrasting pastels or leave your mark in the form of a line in the art guest book. The studio is also a great place to relax – there are tulivaky and a small library.
Spice mixing workshop
25. 4. 2026 | 15:00 – Bratislava City Museum
In cooperation with the Assistance Center for People with Foreign Origin LOOM, you will have the opportunity to mix your own spice blends.
We will spice up the Biographies of People and Things exhibition space in the Old Town Hall with zaatar, sumac and cardamom. You will take home small bags of spices and herbs from around the world from the exhibition.
