The 30th anniversary edition of Bratislava in Motion, Slovakia’s leading international contemporary dance festival, will bring outstanding performances by acclaimed choreographers and dance companies from across Europe to the Slovak capital. Over the past three decades, the festival has become one of the country’s most important cultural events, presenting some of the most inspiring trends and personalities in contemporary dance.
From 14 to 26 October 2026, audiences can enjoy a diverse programme featuring artists from France, Spain, Lithuania and Slovakia. Combining movement, theatre, music and powerful artistic storytelling, the festival offers a unique opportunity to experience contemporary dance in some of Bratislava’s most renowned cultural venues.
Performances will take place at Arena Theatre, A4 Contemporary Culture Space, Nová Cvernovka and the Slovak National Theatre, creating a vibrant cultural programme throughout the city.
