Inauguration of Bicycle Bridge VysoMarch

Ceremonial ribbon cutting, theatre for children, clowns, performances of singing ensembles or brass bands, this is only part of the interesting programme of the official opening of the newly built bicycle bridge over the Morava River on Saturday, May 7, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Of course, cyclists and also lovers of art or nature will come to their own.

Interestingly, the bridge is located in the middle of the protected landscape area on the Slovak side, so it is possible to reach the bicycle bridge from the Slovak side only on bicycles, scooters, bouncers or on foot. The project of the new bicycle bridge between Slovak municipality of Vysoká pri Morave and Austrian municipality of Marchegg supports ecological and sustainable mobility.

The morning programme of inauguration will be dedicated to children who will be entertained by theatre, clowns or buffoonery. he older ones certainly do not miss the brass band, performances of singing ensembles or the presentation of the Bratislava Region and Lower Austria. For lovers of culture, art and nature, the Lower Austrian landscape exhibition will be opened in the newly reconstructed castle in the Austrian townlet of Marchegg.
