Long Night of Museums in ÚĽUV
ÚĽUV will also be part of the 18th European Long Night of Museums
On Saturday, May 14, at the ÚĽUV Gallery on Obchodná Street, you can enjoy a special programme at the exhibition Tradition Untraditionally: Wood from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. An interactive programe with various demonstrations, commented tours or screenings awaits you.
Come to see the beauty of folk creativity, this time in infinitely various forms of wood.
WHAT’S ON
2 p.m. to 8 p.m. – opening of the exhibition, projection of video documents, interactive TV screen
2 p.m. to 8 p.m. – quiz (5 questions with theme wood)
2 p.m. to 8 p.m. – educational stand with trees in the yard (demonstrations of various types of wood, wood products and processing possibilities)
2 p.m. to 8 p.m. – wooden toys in the yard
3 p.m. to 4 p.m. – commented tour with the curators of the exhibition
5 p.m. to 6 p.m. – commented tour with the curators of the exhibition
1 p.m. to 6 p.m. – demonstration of the production of wooden spoons and the production of wood – carver Dominik Chrušč
