Popular markets will offer a children’s zone, charity stalls and a rich cultural program. Inaugurated by the speech of the mayor of the Old Town, markets will last until December 20th.

A diverse program will enrich the Christmas atmosphere with traditional stands over the coming days. It will take place mainly on the stage between the zone with stands and the historical building of the Slovak National Theatre Opera. In front of it will grow the tallest Christmas tree in the city this year.

The cultural programme can also be found in other places of the Old Town, from Thursday to Sunday. You can look forward to chamber music, jazz, punch with music, concerts for children, thematic shows, creative workshops or exhibitions, carols and arias.

Markets will be enriched by an accompanying programme and more than 30 stands. They will not lack snacks in the form of traditional culinary delights and drinks, there will also be a selection of various types of souvenirs, Christmas presents and craft products.
