Pezinok Ceramics Fair
In the traditional June date, ceramists from several countries will return to Pezinok
Already the 18th annual edition of international ceramics fair in the centre of the former free royal town of Pezinok will be appreciated by all lovers and enthusiasts of pottery. For three days, the whole M. R. Štefánik Street will turn into a paradise of ceramics and popular ceramists will sell their own production in here.
From June 10 to 12 you can look forward to more than 100 ceramists coming from Slovakia, Czechia, Hungary, Poland, Bulgaria or Slovenia. The fair is attractive not only because of the sale of various types of ceramic products, but also because of accompanying events. For instance, you will see the burning of the furnace, you can participate in children’s creative workshops, watch demonstrations of the kickwheel spinning or go to the exhibition.
The fair of ceramics ware in Pezinok is the only one of its kind in Slovakia. It has been organized by the Little Carpathian Museum in Pezinok since 2004. The aim of the fair is primarily to support and promote the pottery and jug craft of the old craft of our ancestors.
So come to Pezinok to see that a useful trade pays dividends. And in this case, it comes with a painted outward.
