Philippe Portejoie and Ladislav Fančovič – Recital
The French saxophonist Philippe Portejoie and the Slovak pianist Ladislav Fančovič bring classical music with saxophone, as well as an unconventional approach to Chopin to Bratislava.
Philippe Portejoie plays pieces by composers of the 20th century, as well as his own composition Hommage à Chopin in Slovak premiere. Additionally to the piano accompaniment Ladislav Fančovič will complement the concert through a selection of piano pieces by F. Chopin. Both artists perform together a piece by Paul Hindemith for two alto saxophones.

The concert will be held on 17th August 2019 at 7 pm in the Concert Hall of the Zichy Palace in Ventúrska Street No. 9.
