Picnic in the vineyards
Pezinok vineyards under the Stará hora mountain will come alive on the last Saturday in September with delicious wines, picnic delicacies and ear delicious music
The fifth edition of the open-air picnic in the romantic surroundings of the Pezinok vineyards under the statue of Saint Urban of Langres, the Roman Catholic patron saint of wine-growers, is about to take place.
On Saturday, September 24, you can taste wines on the brought or borrowed blankets in the timeless scenery of the vineyards at the Wine-grower’s Cabin Celestín, the oldest in the Pezinok bounds according to the tradition.
Right in the surroundings of the vineyards, which will already shine with different autumn colours, you can enjoy a drink of kings from local winemakers. Saturday afternoon will be made more pleasant by relaxing music and there will also be a programme for the little ones or a musical performance.
Admission without tasting wine, e.g. for children or drivers, costs a smile, as there is a lack of it nowadays. Degustation is then for moneys.
Numerous local wineries will be presented in the beautiful surroundings of the vineyards under the foothills of the Little Carpathians. Pezinok burgers by Airstream Guys, but also rosted chicken or pork, goulash, baked sausages, pickled vegetables and other snacks from other vendors will make all lovers of good food happy. There will also be cheeses from the local goat farm of Mr. Miškovský or cookies, good coffee and many more.
The Little Carpathian Viticultural Area comes to life together with Karpatská muška, and this picnic takes place under its auspices. The continuation of a nice little wine event in the authentic surroundings of the vineyards promises, in addition to the atmosphere of the Indian summer, a great experience of spending time together in the companion of wine and friends. Come with a blanket or a picnic basket and a good mood and see for yourself.
