Rudolf Sandalo – Visions of Modernity
Sandal’s pictures are considered to be a unique evidence not only of the interwar architecture in Czechoslovakia but also of an excellent level of photography documentation. The close relationship between modern architecture and photography had been realized by the majority of the then artistic initiators. The photography had helped an avant-garde creator to see the architecture from a different point of view and promoted it at home and abroad, in technical and social magazines and at exhibitions.
