Sharpe Festival
Festival & conference showcasing fresh and sharp music from Slovakia, Europe and beyond will be back in Bratislava this April
In 2022, festival returns to its original date – the last weekend of April. It will take place in Bratislava at the cultural hub Nová Cvernovka which draws artists from all sorts of backgrounds.
The fourth edition of the festival on April 21 to 23, 2022 brings two nights of concerts and a one day conference. This year, one extra festival day was added.
SHARPE music festival & conference will start with special concerts. It will be opened on Thursday night by a Japanese math rock band Tricot coming to Europe in spring with its Walking x Walking Tour. Festival will also be attnded e.g. by Tolstoys, The Ills and Kúpel Mysle from Slovakia, Freekind from Croatia and Slovenia or Sýček from Czechia.
The conference will present Robert Meijerink (ESNS), Richard Foster (The Quietus, Worm Rotterdam), Gordon Masson (IQ, ILMC), Dartsya Tarkovska (Soundbuzz, Music Export Ukraine) and Andraž Kajzer (MENT Ljubljana). All festival and conference venues are located in the building of Nová Cvernovka.
SHARPE music festival & conference combines public performances of promising Slovak and international artists of various genres with a conference, where the music professionals from all over Europe meet, learn from each other and discuss the latest topics from the music industry in panels, workshops, presentations, and networking sessions.
