Winter Tyršák

After a short break, Tyršák will open its doors on Wednesday 15 November for all those who like to enjoy the pre-Christmas time with a good meal and something to warm up. Visitors will once again find a unique pre-Christmas atmosphere in a place, which in the summer season is associated with sand, sports activities and lounging.

Winter Tyršák will traditionally offer good food and drinks. This year, proven gastro brands from the summer concept Chilantro and LokalUnas have prepared a special pre-Christmas offer. You will be able to taste roasted meat or duck tacos.

There will be a varied offer of mulled wine, fruit wines, Christmas punch or hot mixed drinks. Tyršák has a beautiful view of the old town, and the new downtown.

Winter Tyršák starts on Wednesday, November 15. It will be open on weekdays from 15:00 to 22:00, on weekends from 12:00 to 22:00.

The winter edition will bring even more than food, drinks, and views:

An exhibition in November by the multicultural festival [fjúžn].

On Saturday, November 18 is the BAZAAR on Tyršák, where worn women’s, men’s and children’s clothing and accessories will be sold. The concept of BAZAAR as a sustainable shopping experience is being built as a long-term event. It puts nice pieces back into circulation among people that have found no use in other households.

Tyršák is the perfect outdoor meeting point for friends and family.

A pleasant stop for walks together along the Tyršák waterfront – directly on the heated terraces on the Tyršák, complemented by attractive Christmas decorations.

Tyršák also thinks about the future, which is why waste is carefully sorted on site, with the use of back-up cups and compostable crockery.

Tyršák is a concept of a city beach on the Petržalka embankment of the Danube, near the Starý most (Old Bridge) bridgehead.

The place, which Bratislava residents knew as a neglected parking lot after the former Lunapark, comes alive with fun and friendly gatherings!

The space under the Old Bridge has been transformed into a vibrant urban beach, where relaxation, entertainment and culture come together.

Up-to-date information about activities at Tyršák is always available on the Tyršák website, as well as on the Facebook a Instagram pages.

From 15 November it will be open on weekdays from 15:00 to 22:00, on weekends from 12:00 to 22:00.
