Bratislava Mozart Festival 2019

The sixth year of the Bratislava Mozart Festival 2019, which will take place between 25th October and 10th November 2019, brings also this time a rich programme. The Festival consists of four concerts full of remarkable pieces presented by major Slovak and European artists.

The opening concert is dedicated to the exceptional Opus Requiem KV 626 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. At the second concert of the Festival will resound a selection of oboe quartets by W. A. Mozart and by his contemporary Georg Druschetzky, whose bicentenary of death we commemorate this year. Also the String Trio by Johann Nepomuk Hummel, which is citing charming melodies by Mozart, will be performed. The dramaturgy of the third concert is made up from two remarkable pieces by Johannes Brahms, the Sonatas Op. 120 for Clarinet and Piano. Also the closing concert of the Bratislava Mozart Festivals 2019 offers a special artistic experience: the Gran Partita KV 360/371a by W. A. Mozart for thirteen wind instruments is an extraordinary example of repertoire for the mentioned musical instruments.
