Bratislava Organ Festival
An international festival, which already traditionally offers not only classical organ recitals, but also chamber concerts and „non-classical “, more extravagant projects with the organ.
In the main part CLASSICAL 4 organ recitals will take place, including the recital of the excellent Zuzana Ferjenčíková in the St. Martin’s Cathedral. In the section BOF EXTRA will resound the music of the American jazzman Fats Waller, untraditionally at the organ will present himself one of the most significant Slovak pianists Ladislav Fančovič. At the concert of the top multi-genre organist and improvisator László Fassang the organ will get into a sphere of world music and jazz, where besides the organ bagpipes, whistles but also a saxophone will be played.
