Workshop focused on playing with hands, in which children will go from hand games, through finger puppets, to a puppet.

Creative workshop for children and workshop is led by actress Margaréta Nosáľová.

What do we have fingers for? For holding a pencil, for pointing, for picking our noses? Certainly for many other things. But can you imagine that fingers can also be trees, animals, people, that they can tell stories? This hands-on workshop will take children from hand games, to finger puppets, to puppetry.

Through exercises, children will experience how theatre can be performed using their hands. They will learn to use their hands to express feelings, moods, atmosphere, characters or settings. Later, they will add an object that, in conjunction with the hand, creates a puppet. At the end, they will test the skills they have acquired through the exercises by creating a short theatrical skit together.
