Colorful Grey – Buntes Grau

The exhibition Colorful Grey – Buntes Grau shows the product design created in the 60-ies and 70-ies in two already non-existing countries: ČSSR (Czechoslovakia) and NDR (German Democratic Republic). The selection was done by Slovak Museum of Design, vermittlungstelle_b, Museum Europäischer Kulturen and Werkbundarchiv – Museum der Dinge.

At the exhibition you can find a sample living room and a sample kitchen with authentic home tools and furniture used in the 60-ies and 70-ies. It’s also a comparison, of the design works from both countries.
