Countdown – The Last Film of Ivan Palúch / Martin Palúch / Slovakia 2022 / 75 min. – A film about Ivan Palúch, one of the most important personalities of Slovak acting. In 1969, the program of the most prestigious film festival in Cannes featured as many as three feature films in which he acted: two in the main competition of feature films – Michael Kohlhaas by the German director Volker Schlöndorff and It Rains in My Village by the Yugoslav director Aleksandar Petrovič, the third in non-competitive section – Marketa Lazarová of the later classic of the Czech film by František Vláčil.
