Fats Jazz Band

A free evening concert on the Hlavne namestie, in the Old Town.

Fats Jazz Band plays jazz and swing from the 30’s and 40’s mainly from the jazz legend Thomas „Fats“ Waller, from which the band also borrowed the name. Besides that, the band plays most known songs from names such as Louis Armstrong, Teddy Wilson, Lester Young, Billie Holiday, Clarence Williams, Ella Fitzgerald, Tommy Dorsey, Count Basie, Benny Goodman, Gene Krupa and others. And also a couple of tracks from czech and slovak authors.
