MEDIEVAL CRAFTS

Have you ever seen a medieval manufacturing process where a piece of wood is transformed into a wooden bowl, roughly worked leather becomes a beautifully decorated leather satchel, melted beeswax is used to make a functional candle, or a lump of clay is turned into a ceramic jug? That they haven’t seen? And that’s just a fraction of what you’ll have the opportunity to see at the Festival of Forgotten Crafts.

MEDIEVAL ATTRACTIONS

Do you like to overcome new challenges and try new things? Come test your mettle and get involved in medieval life with all that goes with it! For young and old alike, we have prepared the opportunity to try archery led by professional archers, javelin throwing or target throwing with small axes.

DAY CAMPS

Come and experience the Middle Ages with us! This opportunity offers you a glimpse directly into the period camps of individual historical groups. Medieval people present original medieval costumes or all kinds of equipment and utensils necessary for everyday life or the way of life in the Middle Ages.

MEDIEVAL PASTIMES

The opportunity to put yourself in the shoes of a medieval person will give you the chance to experience how difficult but also beautiful life was in the Middle Ages. Are you interested in how and with what ingredients was cooking in the Middle Ages? How and what did medieval people dress in? Or do you long for battle and would you like to join in the preparations for battle and the conquest of medieval castle fortifications?
