Festival of sacred music
The aim of the project is the joint celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of Czechoslovak Republic, with the highest notabilities participating in the presentation of Choirs from Czech and Slovak Republic. The contribution of the project for the district Old Town Bratislava is the presentation of the invited ensembles from Czech Republic in the reciprocal confrontation of Choirs from both states. During the event artists from both lands of the former Republic will perform and take part in the celebrations directly in the centre of the Old Town Bratislava.

9:30 am Solemn mass with the Choir Les Sirènes and the Haydn Chamber Orchestra – with the Programme:
J. Haydn: Missa brevis Sancti Joannis de Deo in B flat major – composed originally for the Order of the Merciful Brothers in Austria
The revenue of the voluntary entrance fee will be used for the renovation of the organ and for liturgical music at the Merciful Brothers.
