Folk Dance Evening in the Wine Garden

The civic association Terroir Rača invites you to a magical Folk Dance Evening on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 6:30 PM, in the peaceful courtyard of Kolonič Mansion, Andrej Hlinka Square 4, Rača.
Come and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the Wine Garden, where the well-known folk ensemble Ekonóm will bring Slovak traditions to life through three blocks of music, singing, and dance performances.
FS Ekonóm, active for over 55 years under the University of Economics in Bratislava, showcases folk traditions from various Slovak regions such as Zemplín, Podpoľanie, Hont, Gemer, Abov, and Požitavie. The ensemble’s mission is to preserve and creatively reinterpret these regional traditions, often presenting lesser-known dances and music.
The group is made up of around 50 passionate young members – university and high school students or young professionals – many of whom bring folklore from their home regions and enrich the ensemble’s repertoire through shared traditions.
This event is organized in cooperation with the Rača Cultural Department as part of the Rača Cultural Summer series.
