Genius Locci

The band Genius Locci will perform at Kafe Scherz on September 12.

Genius Locci is a musical project by two sisters and like-minded musicians, playing indie folk and pop genres with original songs sung in English. The band, based in Bratislava, has been on the scene since 2013. Since then, they have released the EP Innate (2014), the double album Presence (2016), the singles No, No (2018) and Daybreak (2019), and in 2023 they released their second album, Shifted. They have played numerous concerts, including festivals such as Pohoda, Grape Festival, Colours of Ostrava, Beseda u Bigbítu, and have also played as the opening act for Tom Odell and Passenger and have performed in Poland, Hungary, and Germany.
