About the exhibition
In her project Girlboss Chakra, Slovak artist Viera Zubalová uses artificial intelligence to construct a virtual alter ego – a seemingly flawless influencer version of herself. What started as Instagram posts referencing meme culture and online aesthetics has been transformed into large-format prints reminiscent of advertising banners.

The exhibition reflects on the pressure, especially on women, to brand themselves, curate their online presence, and perform their lives. It points to the paradox of “authentic” digital narratives that often become traps – identities that must be replicated offline. By shifting from the ephemeral online world into a physical exhibition, the project critiques marketing aesthetics, questions self-optimization, and shows how social media trends can shape our sense of self.

About the artist
