Karm + Bratislavský improvizačný orchester

Intimate and delicate sounds performed by the duo Karm, consisting of Prague-based saxophonist and clarinetist Michal Wróblewski and Berlin-based Torsten Papenheim (acoustic guitar, objects) at A4.

With a purely acoustic setup, the duo creates sonic spaces far beyond the familiar sounds of their instruments. Karm stick to their distinctive style, creating music that can be both austere and dense.
And as every month, a performance that is always different and always surprising, featuring the ever-changing resident ensemble at A4: the Bratislava Improvisation Orchestra. The ensemble was founded in 2023. It consists of a loose group of musicians playing both acoustic and electronic instruments and dedicated to freely improvised music of various forms.
