GMB invites you to the first guided tour of the intergenerational group exhibition Smoke and Mirrors, which explores the current transformations in the political interpretation of the world, led by exhibition curator Mira Keratová.

The power and ideological shifts in public discourse that we are currently experiencing in Slovakia transcend the boundaries of nation states and are part of a global system. They are rewriting cultural, social, and economic reality, which is shifting away from democratic principles toward authoritarian regimes and growing inequality.

The exhibition aims to contribute to the development of open community formats for sharing and perspectives for social reconciliation. It appeals to the need to develop political imagination and new alliances based on understanding complex contexts and identifying the common interests of the working class.
