Fancy some intense, strange “distorted punk trombone pop”? Magdalena Ågren’s solo project is still a well-kept Gothenburg secret, which occasionally leaves the Swedish underground and appears at various alternative festivals and venues that magnetize the European experimental scene. MAG straddles the line between music and performance art, using trombone, megaphone, vocals, homemade electronics, loops, and drum machines to build her music from the ground up.

From the smallest, simplest element, it grows into a gigantic dystopian lo-fi orchestra that is sometimes restrained and evocative, sometimes chaotic and wild.
