Meowlau (album release)

A new, unique, and exceptionally authentic project is emerging on the Slovak music scene, which will be launched on April 11 at DK Zrkadlový háj.

The artist Meowlau presents her debut album Kvety (Flowers) – a collection of ten songs that do not seem like a calculated career move, but rather an inevitable and natural step in her personal transformation.

The album is a very personal, at times raw and introspective musical statement that combines indie and post-punk influences with honest lyrics about vulnerability, relationships, and the search for one’s own identity.

Kvety is a musical diary of a turbulent period, but also proof that even chaos can produce a coherent and powerful work of art. Meowlau enters the scene without pretense or affectation—with music that is raw, tender, personal, and bold at the same time.

The debut album does not feel like the beginning of a career, but rather a natural process of inner maturation. Kvety thus blossoms as an authentic statement by a young author who has decided to show the world who she really is for the first time.
