Mikrozvuk #62: Forest Factory

On June 11, LOM space will host the last Mikrozvuk event before the summer break, featuring a performance by the experimental duo Forest Factory.

Forest Factory consists of Elvin Brandhi and Andreas Trobollowitsch. Their work is an intersection of acoustic, mechanical, and electronic sounds, with their performances centered around handmade mechanical turntables, wooden boards struck live, samplers, and the human voice. The human voice emerges here as another sound element straddling the boundaries of nature, the body, and mechanical machines. On stage, they move between noise, hip-hop, metal, pop, and electroacoustic experiments. The result is always a physical, unpredictable, and immersive experience. You’ve had the chance to hear their other projects at LOM, T3, and A4.
Their debut album HOLZWEG will be released in June on the Japanese label ato.archives.
